  • First injection soreness

So I did my first injection Monday of golden triangle test enth and QV EQ. I expected the soreness and can handle the pain. Thats fine. But how long does it usually last? Because it definitly hasn't gotten better. And today that side of my glute has turned red and is warmer to touch than the other side. I didn't think an abcess would form that quickly. I'm beginning to wonder. It really pissed me off yesterday when I could do sit ups on a bench cuz it hurt so bad.

I am not the hypochondriac type and don't want to sound like that, but is this normal. I am going to do my next injection tomorrow. I figure I will give it another two days until this weekend to see how it goes, and if it happens again with the second shot.

I feel your pain, bro. Not sure if its the enant itself, or the QV products. I have the QV Enan, and every stick in the quads is sore as hell for 2-3 days. With this stuff, I decided to try the glutes, and guess what... NO PAIN (o.k., very little)

    .

Maybe its the fact of the bigger muscle, or deeper inj (1 1/2 for glutes / I use 1" for quads). Either way, try the next one in the glutes. As for the redness N heat... as long as you kept sterility (needle, alcohol swab on the site, cleanup, etc.) you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Give it a couple of days, and massage it and use a heating pad (alternate with an ice pack). You should be fine. If not, or it gets worse, get it looked at though. Also, some recommend working out the muscle that you stick, the same day (after the inj) to help followed soreness. Hope I've helped.

Never enjoyed shooting in the arse. Delts have always been the cleanest and least painful injection ive done. As long as you arent shooting too much at once, i would try your side delts the next time around and see how you handle it.

it only gets better with each inject. the first ones can be sore for a few days but you will forget about it soon. have a nice cycle!

Thanks for the words of comfort. Like I said before, the soreness doesn't bother me. I just was reading about abcesses and its the redness and heat that bother me. Hopefully it goes away in a couple days. Leg day is coming up Friday!

My last shot was in my right quad with a 23g 1 1/2. I buried it and it only hurt for a few minutes afterwards. I also worked my legs right afterwards so that may have something to do with it.

As I understand it, infections are mainly a sterility issue. Make sure you are "hospital" clean about everything. Good luck.

It seemed to get better with time for me, before I knew it, I was taking 1-3 ml / day Injections (Prop & Winny).

It all gets better, just give it time.

BTW, nice to see another fellow Texan.
