Has this ever happened to you?

Just wanted to say hi. I used to be on fitnessboard under another name. I haven't had time to get on the boards much in the past year or so. When I first started on the boards, I liked it too much and was spending too much time at work on them, so I had to make myself quit. I'm sure some others know what I mean.... Anyway, I'm back (although I plan to better manage my time on the boards this time around).

Now, to the queston... I don't want to sound like I was a "somebody" before - some may remember me, must would probably not, but I decided to change my name on the boards because I just recently emailed a trusted source for a new list and got a reply back claiming to be from the county law where the guy is from. THey said he was "now in the custody of ____ county law enforcement...". I had been laying off the juice for at least 9 months prior - only asking for an updated list from time to time to see what might be new. But just to be safe, I changed my identity and abandoned my old email address. I don't know to what lengths county cops would go to try to find his customers, and even if they did, who's to say what might have been in a package? Could have been nolva or clomid - or a f*(kin CD or something.

So, my logical side says "forget about it". I didn't lose any money and I'm lucky I didn't make an order a few months ago. But this is the first time something like this has ever happened, and I can't help but feel a little rattled by it.

I could use some replies with similar experiences.....

By the way, I recognize a few of the mods here and I'll be glad to answer inquiries from any moderator on who this source was. (I don't think any would remember me other than Lewd and gearedup). But if you're not a mod, don't bother asking. I don't want to link the "new me" with the "old me" in any way with anyone I don't know. Nothing personal, just coverin' my ass

same thing happened to me........i never got an email saying he was in jail. But i read it in the paper!! freaked me right out!! Anyway i think the cops just want the big fish......why waste time and money going after every mike and joe user? when you can take the main guy out.

Thanks Flexer01. Like I said, I'm not really concerned. I changed all my info. I don't even live at the same address. Besides, there's no law against shipping CDs in the mail
