I must have gotten a bad pin

This morning I was trying to put some Fina/Prop into my quad and it would not go. The pin wouldn't break the skin. I started pushing harder and it started to hurt. When it started to hurt a lot, I pulled out and blood shot all over. I've never had anything like this happen before.

Damn that sucks, I always draw out with 23ga then change to
25ga 1in before injecting fresh virgin needle....

I like using needles the size of those straws you use for juice boxes. Like the kind your mom used to put in your school lunchbox.

I've had pins that were dull, but this was more like a barbed fish hook.

Some of them do get a "barb" on the end especially if you draw from more than one bottle. I'd do what chestnut does and change points after drawing.

yea do what chestnut does it will help alot if your not doing it already.

Def change the pin after you draw, just save the pin you use to draw and use it over and over. Makes it a lot less painful if you switch the pins.
