yes, but you can have too much of a good thing. Usually 1-1.5g/lb of BW

yea i always wondered the same thing. Heard that 1g per lb of bw is good to go so i got to try that.

      250lbs @ 44% bf
      After 1st cycle Dec 1st 02
      215 @ 30% bf
March 1st After t-3 and clen
      205 @ 24% bf
      June 1st
      225 @ 24%

I was cutting 5 months with high protein, low carb medium fat. Things slowed down and I thought I might not need all that 350g protein per day that I was taking. I lowered the protein and upped on the fat. Yhat was when I started loosing mass. Hardness went down, pumps went down, energy level went down andd so on. Next cuttingperiod starting in september I'm not going to change much from the bulk diet I'm on right now. Only going to lower carbs some and hit up with more cardio

                1.5 grams for me

And note everyone is different, for me if I miss a few days and only get in .5 or so it really effects me and shows and then takes another 2-3 days of consistent eating to get back on track, so all in all for me consistency is very important

                good luck

how exactly would you find your LEAN body weight?.so say if your 200lbs.and 10 percent bf.....you would be 20 lbs bodyfat and 180 lean mass and you would calculate your protein intake on that number?
