My only question is.... as I scroll up, I see one of your mods with 3 direct URL links to sites that sell research goods and supplements. Thats a bit self contradicting aye? If no one can advertise at MC without paying for it, then maybe you should ask him to edit his signature or pay for an advertisement here.

I know this wasn't directed to me, but was directed at me. We have no problems with people who have their companies in their signatures, whether they compete with our advertisers or not. BuyB12 wasn't banned for that, or even asked to change that. Heck, I still had his email address in my sig up until the point that he was banned! He was banned because he posted (and posted, and posted after those posts were deleted and he was pm'd warnings) about his grand opening with products in direct competition with a paying board sponsor (and great company, I might add). This is why he was banned.

And I was under the impression that the same (having what you want in your signature) was good over here. I do spend some time over here, and enjoy your board. If I'm wrong about what I can have in my signature, by all means let me know, and I'll edit it! I've been on other boards where they've asked me to take certain things out, and I always oblige (whether I think it's silly or not).

And for those who come over to MC and try and contact Presser - feel free to run your ideas by any of us mods over there. Presser has been slightly pre-occupied with minor things (like getting married ).... and for the most part, we aren't going to have problems with cross promoting a board, as long as you run it by someone first!

WeirdAl- I personally dont give a shit what you have in your signature, but everytime you post, thats seen as an advertisement and the folks you have in your signature compete with the advertisers who pay to advertise here. Thats sort of an amusing contradiction.

as the others pointed out, the reason buyb12 was banned was because he kept posting about his other products, that was competing with our sponser. that was what he forgot to mention in his original post.

and chem you were asked several times only to post about kits not other products to compete with sponsers, but you couldn't seem to do that. and then having all kinds of customers names plastered all over the net was the last straw.

I think he's saying that CS (in my signature) competes against an FG board sponsor.

And like I said, we allow people to put competitors info in their signatures over at MC, and I believe that's the case here, too. If not, I'll certainly remove it!

Yes you are.... not every board operates like FG. You guys ***** and moan about other companies challenging your sponsors.... and you come here with 4 companies in your signature, 1 in which carries the same products as one of our sponsors..... so it can be done here but not at MC? The 2 boards arent even comparable.

but what is not fine, is if you have a competing product as a sponser, and you start posting about them, like this thread was.
