  • How long is safe to slin post workout?

    After the completion of my recent cycle I have been "bridging" with Humalog slin. I take it post workout only (4x a week) and have worked my way up to 10iu's, and am not going any higher. My question is how long is it safe or advisable to slin postworkout? I want to run this untill my next cycle as it is greatly helping with keeping gains, but that would be for about 8 weeks. I have read everything possible on slin, but have not seen much about how long you can use it for before it loses effectiveness or causes damage.

    In one of the FAQs I read, someone said they had been on for a few months with no adverse effects, but, most people say 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off. Up to you bro!

        i use it to bridge 10iu ed just watch your carb make sure you get enough

          ive read 4 on 4 off and 4 on 2 off but ive never seen one documented case of anyone becoming insulin dependant in four months of research.

            4 on 4 off, not more. You don't want to become resistant to it. I take two shots a day. 1st shot 8a.m. after a 20min cardio session 10iu's. 2nd shot 5pm after my workout 10iu's. 100g of carbs and prot right aftre my shot and every two hours for six hours after each shot. No fat. Works great for me.

              I ran it for 7 weeks by itself post-workout mainly. Gained right around 10 lbs with a little fat gain. Strength shot through the roof as I was stacking with 10-15 grams of creatine a day. I worked my way up to 12 iu.

              As long as you're just using it post-workout 4x per week you should be fine using it for the duration of the eight weeks IMO.
