  • Critique Of cutting Plan

I am about to start cutting and wanted to post my plan for review.

I am 42 years old, 5”10”, and weigh 210 pounds at about 19% BF. I have 4 cycles behind me with the last one being 750 mg of Test and 450 mg of Deca weekly for 12 weeks.

My plan is to consume about 1825 calories per day which is 8.5 calories/pound. I have stayed a constant 210 pounds over the last 4 months consuming 12 calories/pound, or about 2500 calories per day. So, I am assuming this must be my maintenance level. The 1825 calories will be on a 60/20/20 split of protein, carbs, and fat spread over 6 meals. That’s about 273 grams of protein, 91 carbs, and 40 grams of fat daily. I will be doing cardio 4-5 mornings per week and weight training 5 days per week.

I will be taking Thermorexin 2-3 times daily as a fat burner. My cycle will consist of 750mg of Test Enanthate weekly and 50mg of Fina / Trenbolone EOD. I have done Fina in the past at 80mg/EOD with strength increasing drastically to the point of acquiring several injuries with one requiring surgery so I am hoping that this small dosage will be sufficient for “muscle sparing” purposes. I am hoping to lose 1.5 pounds of fat per week and 18 pounds over 12 weeks. IF I can do this, my BF percentage would drop from 19% to about 11-12% at a weight of 192 pounds? Is that a reachable goal.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Farrar

He's right...you've definitely done your homework (that's good to see). I guess my only thought, would be that you might consider using Prop instead of Enan. This is just to help with the bloat from any excess water that the Enan might bring along with it. But I'm sure you'll have some ant-e's with you. My 2 cents...Good Luck with it...looks Very solid, though....

Agreed, definately use prop instead of test e. If you are gonna be injecting tren often, you might as well use a faster test.
Everything I say or do is hypothetical. I do not nor will I ever use steroids.

With your previous cycle history, Im guessing you're going to try to put on some lean mass and hopefully drop some bodyfat... assuming that is correct, your calories are much too low. Remember, AAS speed up the amount of calories spent, not to mention you're going to use a very potent fat burner.

Will you be doing any cardio? I would eat right at maintainance calories 3 days a week and on those 3 days, do cardio. On non-cardio days, eat around 500 calories below maintainance and you'd be right on track to lose 1.5lbs of fat a week. Remember, its going to get harder as you get leaner. I would do a search for my basal metabolic rate formula to get a more accurate idea of your maintainance calories. Those random numbers are usually a bit off.

              Farrar,

Overall you're plan is great, and you definitely have the dedication.

I'm a little older than you and these days I also have to go about 1,800 calories to cut, and 2,300-2,400 is maintenance. I've tried several different ways and over the last 3 years it always falls back to that 1,800 level.

Also, note, if you have been training and dieting hard your thyroid reaches a point where it starts to resist, sometimes a little t-3 will help.

              Good Luck

                Thanks trip...and all others.

Yes, my maintenance must be in the 2500 calorie range as I have been eating that exact amount for several months with no change in weight or BF.

I do plan to add T-3 to my cycle on this ramping schedule:

                25mcg 5 days
                50mcg 5 days
                75mcg 15 days
                50mcg 10 days
                25mcg 10 days

For a total of 100# 25mcg tablets which is what I have on hand.

Thanks again guys. What I've learned here you can't get in a book ordered from Amazon.com-that's for sure. Experience is priceless!

                Thanks Again,

                Farrar
