Who reuses the same pin!

I was wondering if anyone reuses the same pin to withdraw from the bottle. I always use a new pin to inject but was wondering if anyone reuses the same pin to withdraw just to save on needles.

u can for a lil while. everytime u withdraw from vial, the pin dulls, using a new pin is much more sterile and less painful.

go get yourself more. order from the net, you'll have it in no more than 4 days. or walk down to a local pharamacy and get yourself some. different pin everytime....everytime. (where's that thread showing needle tips after one use, two uses, etc....) that would answer your question)

using the same pin.....Dangerous, don't want to get a deep tissue infection and have it cut out.

I have buddies that have used the same pin to draw with for months. I guess it really doesn't matter as long as you always keep it sheilded and on an empty syringe...

Thanks ironfist for clarifying for everyone. Yes, I change EVERY pin that I stick into my body, but the drawing pin is what I would like to use over again. I kept one shielded but I didn't put it on an empty syringe. I'm gonna do it this week and wondering if anyone else does it this way? Why spend the money if you don't have to?

i use an 18g to draw....keep it covered ,no big deal. ( the same one) all i do is draw with it. Use alcohol to wipe off though.

Do your self a favor and buy new ones. I got a deep tissue abcess and spent a week in the hospital. still have the tube sticking out of me. And I used a new every time

I've used the same drawing needle again before. I stored my drawing needle in a closed container with fresh alcohol when i did.

I use 18 to draw then will replace it with the appropriate pin to inject.

its simple. do not reuse a pin, ever!

you put so much effort into making gains in the gym, don't risk it over 25 cents.

and besides it'll just hurt more goin in.

I wouldn't do that because it isn't worth the risk of a possible infection since the drawing pin isn't sterile after it has been used once. The chances may be slim, but not worth it IMO when you can get a box of 100 drawing pins for under $10....
