Nolva and Clomid together

Lately, a lot of people have been asking about using nolva AND clomid both in post cycle. Most people are aware of the clomid usual dosages...
Day 1 300mg
Day 2-11 100mg
Day 12-21 50mg

Now, in some recent posts I have seen people suggesting the use of Nolva on top of those doses mentioned above. Just a thought here, but wouldn't it make sense to cut down the clomid doses if one is going to add nolva as well? For example.

Day 1 Clomid 150mg and Nolva 60mg
Day 2-11 Clomid 50mg and Nolva 20mg
Day 12-21 Clomid 25mg and Nolva 10mg

Wouldn't this make sense or am I pulling stuff out of my arse?

I would like to know also. I have used clomid post cycle my last four cycles and I am getting sick of it. I have 6000iu of hcg, 28 20mg tabs of nolva and about 40ml of clomid left. How would I use these for my next cycle.

Most knowledgable bro's have told me to run them at lower doses if doing them together especially the clomid. I will probably run it 4 weeks similar to what you have layed out.

Here is the deal with Clomid and Nolva post cycle.....Most people would agree that Clomid does work pretty well at restoring your natural test levels. But at the same time Clomid is a very weak anti-estrogen. If you were comming of a pretty strong cycle of Test, Deca, or whatever Clomid may not be enough anti-estrogen wise to make sure you don't get gyno post cycle. Most people agree that taking armidex post cycle is not a good idea. And at the same time Nolva does work somewhat at restoring natural test levels also. So it would make sense to restore you natural test levels with Clomid while using Nolva to ensure you are protecting yourself from gyno while you test levels and low and your estrogen levels are high

300mg 1 day
150mg 2nd day
100 mg 2 more weeks
50 mg 2-3 more weeks

Nolva
60 mg 1 day
40 mg 2nd day
20 mg till the end of post cycel therapy

I have used this method and I personally believe I recover much better from extending post cycel therapy to 4-5 weeks instead of the traditional 3 weeks.

I see your PCT and I understand your reasoning, but you are just throwing clomid AND nolva post cycle plans together. What you have laid out is what people usually do with EITHER nolva OR clomid. I want to know why keep the higher dosages of both?

All I can tell you is that I have used this method and it works great for me, the addition of 20mg Nolvadex really is not that much...I don't believe that the addition of Nolva justifies lowering the typical ammount of Clomid taken post cycle.

From what i am seeing clomid is far more powerful than nolva for bringing the boys back... Next time i will run the clomid split w/ lower doses and nolva along side it... im just going to play with the doses until i get it right... i think lower doses over a longer period of time may turn out to be better and lessen sides but its just a guess and i have not researched it.

The less clomid you can use and get away w/ it i would say the better, thats the whole school of thought on the nolva/clomid mix.

I find clomid sides to be far worse than cycle sides.

Play with it and find what works for you... 100mg of clomid seems to be doing the trick right now. I will start to ramp down soon... -J

My last cycle I used arimidex at 0.25mg EOD and at the end of my cycle threw in clomid at 50mg ED and nolvadex at 20mg for three weeks post cycle while stopping the a-dex. I kept most of my gains but I had some nasty side effects which I feel came from the clomid and nolvadex together. Acne on my chest, back, shoulders, and neck. Twice as bad as when I used to just do clomid post cycle alone.

My understanding is that Clomid is great for restoring the levels of endogenous test, while Nolva is great for fighting gyno.

Could someone just use clomid for post cycle therapy and have nolva on hand in case of gyno?
