I have been using QV products all year and I have had great success with them. They all look alike, with date stamped on in black typewritter ink, the edges of the label straight and well rounded, and the hologram (which has a triangle shaped slit at the top and bottom)
Tonight I bought a bottle of QV Prop 100 because I wanted to spot inject some weaker bodyparts tom night before my contest on Sat. When I opened the box, I was pissed. The date was not stamped on, it was rolled on in the same ink as the rest of the bottle. This did not concern me so much as I know that in the earlier batches QV did not stamp their products (this was batch QVP-003 Exp Dec2004). What bothered me the most was the Hologram. Has QV ever changed their Hologram? This one did not have the little slits on the top and botton, it was all one. Also, when I pealed it off it was like a sticker, and left little round circles (which I hear also indicates that it is a fake). To add insult to injury, the label was not even straight and the edges were not perfectly round.
At first I dismissed this as a typical Mexican product, because it really did look so close that only the Hologram gave it away. Anyone run into any of these with the different hologram (same color and shape, just peels off different and doesn't have the slits in it)
Just want to make sure that it is fake before I throw it out. Just picked up 2 more bottles of the QVP-005 EXP 2005. They llok great.
