What gave you all the idea to use steroids? Was it research? friends, and etc.? Goals?

Since I started this thread, let me be the first to answer my own question. I first got the idea from my brother, he ran his first cycle a while back and had very good results, so I studied and researched steroids ever since.

It just kinda fascinated me. Seeing Arnold and Sly in the rambo movies etc all cut out of stone. I didn't neccesarily want to get that big just ripped and shredded, muscular.

I wanted them to get bigger since I was a skinny bastard I wanted to get big quick. I tried all sorts of weight gainers and creatines but it didnt do jack shit to me. I always wanted to try roids since I was 14 but waited till I was 18. But yeah I love them and did my research.

I'm not 100% sure. I was very much against steroids when I was younger (18-20) and into bodybuilding... I got away for awhile and got REALLY fat. I dropped 100 lbs, and was in great shape, but felt skinny. During my fat loss (doing Body For Life), I was constantly looking for the edge on the internet - various websites, boards, etc, and reading magazines. I read lots of supplement ads, of course, all the products claiming to be as effective as steroids. So that at least got me thinking... I got more into the boards, started doing lots of research. Finally, after about a year (during which time I'd been bulking naturally with decent results, but putting on some fat, too), and then I cut back down, leaving some nice size.... Along the way, I decided that steroids were something I was interested in as far as my goals went. Something was definitely up with my body, though - no energy even though I was in really good shape, muscle mass was hard to maintain, and I had no sex drive. So I went to the doc, got my test levels checked, and found out they were low! After doing more research (I'd been active on the boards for a year at least at this point) into my options (the doc wanted to put me on test gel), I decided to go with injections, and here I am
