I just got threw injecting and I'm noticing that my 30ml bottle of profina is getting a little low. I am on day 21 and it looks like I have enough for 25 days maybe. I don't think the bottle was underfilled, maybe not sure. I started thinking maybe I'm pulling to much from the bottle each time? This is my third cycle and I thought I was measuring correctly, maybe not. Does anyone have a pic or something of how to measure out exactly 1ml? Or maybe someone could explain to me how to take out exactly 1ml? -crombie09
with every injection a little extra is taken out due to a certain part of the sringe where it gets stuck
so every shot when u measure 1ml u get a little more i dont remembe5r the exact number though
here is an article by basskiller that should explain in depth the whole thing. I swear it was posted here as well, but I can't find it, so if someone has the link for this site, post it.

It's all in the pin. Notice how the rubber stopper at the end of ths shaft inside the plunger is rounded.
When you draw up 1ml, sometimes it's .9 sometimes 1.1.
And then there's a tiny bit left at the bottom of plunger and in needle. Nothing if all you are doing is one shot, yet out of a 20-30-60 ml bottle it all adds up too some slippage.
Bass did an actually physical analysis of this and posted it.
So, all in all you're probably doing things right, it just happens.
So those of you who have used 30ml bottles how many 1ml injections do you get out of one? At the rate I'm going I will only have enough for 50 injections or 7 weeks. Should I start injecting a little less than 1ml, so I can get all 8 weeks in? -crombie09
According to the article, 1ml is actually 1.1 ml because of the space and pin. You'll never get all the juice out of the pin. You are probably looking at losing about 3ml or less total out of 30ml. But you still get the full ml injection even though there is an extra .1 ml lost.
Its not enough to make or break a cycle. I wouldn't worry about it.
If you wanted, you could prefill your syringe with a little sterile oil, then draw in the juice - so the the last thing going out would be the oil... Not worth it in my opinion.

I just add a little air bubble to get it all out. Then I push it all the way down untill the air hits the needle. I try not to get air in the needle though. I read it takes a few cc's to kill you, so a little air won't hurt. I never have to worry about any juice getting wasted.
