IM injections

what do you guys think of this guide for IM injections? good to follow?

also, this is very newbie'ish but what does it mean to aspirate (is that where you draw the plunger back a bit to check for blood to avoid injecting in a vein?)

Yes it is newbie'ish, but something good for newbie's. I didn't have anything like that, I just followed spot injections.com.

That is a pretty good pdf there. I learned a thing or two.

I am usually too lazy to pinch the skin before I inject, I just clean it with a alcohol pad and inject away.

I saw that about a year ago or so on another board, good PDF though.

Good stuff. I wish I could have read that before I started. It would have helped a lot. Also its missing some sites. Calf, bis, tris, chest, traps, lats but I guess nobody in a hospital needs to do that many injections to need all those sites
