  • FINA - Call me stupid but...

I can't believe how stupid I am. After 12 years of using AAS I didn't know that Fina could cause gyno (I guess through an increase in progesterone). I was even worried about even getting gyno no matter what I was on because I am taking 1 mg of Arimidex and 40 mg of Novadex. All of the sudden, when I uped my dosegae from 300 to 600 mg per week I got gyno.

Shit, I am only 3 weeks out from a show. Is there anything that prevents gyno while on Fina. Should I just taper down and get off, and hope the gyno goes down in 3 weeks.

Do I even need the Fina if I am using 30 mg of Halo and 150 mg of Proviron for androgens.

    I can't believe this. Uh!!!

    bromo...

it will make you feel like crap though. but it stopr progesterone gyno. back the doses back down a little and see if it subsides. by the time your bromo arrives, the show would be right around the corner, so it's probably a little late for that...
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

Nolva should do it, but as a last resort, try some bromo. Side effects kinda suck for some people.
Everything I say or do is hypothetical. I do not nor will I ever use steroids.

        nolvadex won't help a bit.

I think prolangtum would argue with you on that one. I don't have the studies, but he's full of the info on that subject.

Why in the world would Novadex help if Arimidex, which is supposed to block over 92% estrogen conversion doesn't. I am interested if there is some back door method that would make Nova work and Arimidex not. I just started taking the Nova this week, so if Prolangtum has an answer to this, I would much appreciate it. By the way, what is Bromo exactly?

Arimidex binds to the enzyme aromatase, which halts the conversion of some steroids to estrogen. Nolvadex is a synthetic, weak estrogen that basically competes with stronger estrogens (such as estradiol) at tissue sites. They work by to completely different methods.

Exactly, one is better for prevention, the other is better for treatment. Hey prolangtum, aren't you gonna tap into the nolva vs. fina gyno arguement?!?! Don't leave me hanging bro...

Exactly. If all you (and I mean anyone) do is think what people tell you to think, then you are a fool. If you believe pro that nolvadex prevents fina gyno, that's fine; but wouldn't you rather know for yourself. If I were to get gyno while on a fina cycle I would sure as hell read everything I could (from opinions to actual studies) and I wouldn't tell anyone else what to do until I knew for sure.

I'm not stepping into the discussion of nolva vs. bromo because I have never (thankfully) had to research it. All I'm saying is that before you advise someone on how to treat a medical condition, you should know the issue inside and out and not just repeat what someone else says.
