  • Flying with Insulin?

I have a contest coming up that I need to fly to. I can leave the rest of the gear at home and just bring the orals, but I need the insulin for the carb-load on Fri & Sat. Any experience with flying with insulin and insulin pins. I use Humologue which is prescription only, which I suppose if they were bright enough could challenge more than Humulin. Do you think they can even question you if you say that you are diabetic. They can't ask you for a script for it? What do you think.

keep it well packed in your suitcase. do not attempt to bring the pins onto the plane, for the simple fact IF they do find them, you would more than likely be screwed. if its a couple of syringes, keep them sealed, and have the isulin right near them. again, just make sure they are secured in the bag

if your diabetic you have to have insulin. they have to let you carry it. Fuck i bet they even have to let you shoot up on the damn plane (well maybe not)
