As I draw from my bottle of fina with a 18 needle I get small chunks of the rubber stopper in my gear. I am goning to have to filter my gear again. Anyone else have this problem?

i had this one time but it was only one chunk
i just kept my i on it and eventually it ended up getting stuck
to the side of the bottle. if you have a lot then you might wanna
refilter. also dont use an 18g harpoon, i usually use a 23 or even a 25g and have no probs just push extra air in the bottle or heat it up some before you suck it out -
I had the exact same problem... i switched to drawing with a20 or 22 gague needle... I would definantly refilter.I'm Just an old chunk of Coal, But I'm gonna be a DIAMOND some day.

Mine did the same thing. I kept my eye on it to make sure I didn't suck it up and as trap said, it got stuck to the bottle.It's better to burn out, than to fade away...Comment

yeah one bottle has about 20 chunks in it. I had to switch to another bottle and now this one has 3 or 4 in it. As I pushed the 18g through the top I saw that it had a little chunk on the tip of it.zozer7@cyber-rights.net

I got a bunch of rubber chunks in my gear on my last cycle... pretty annoying. I tried not to get them in the syringe but some got into it a few times anyways. So i shot with them in it. I'm not sure if it got into my muscle or not but either way i had no irritation.Comment

Had teh same prob in my Fina and just stopped using the 18g for a 23g and problem was solved. refilter it though better to be safe than sorryIts not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog...Comment

Yea you might want to refilter if theres that many chunks in it. But using a small pin say 23 or 25 would solve the problem because the rubber is to big to be drawn up with them.Comment

i loaded a shot and it had a little piece in the gear i had no filter and i wasnt gonna try to get it out or waste the 3 ccs of test so i shot it with no probs. not smart but the risk may be overrated slightly. IMO"SHIAT BIOTCH, thats a big ass!"
