I think the big compaines did, but you can still get it at compounding pharmacies. I dont know if thats going to change in the future or not, but its there for now and I havent heard otherwise.

That's interesting. A number of reports have shown problems with potency and sterility when pharmacies compound, especially for injection. (I await the flames from the pharmacists on the board). Has someone actually heard of a pharmacy compounding deca for injection? And can pharmacies compound non FDA approved drugs even with a prescrition?

Never heard of regular pharmacies (walgreens, walmart, etc.) but I know of two very large US compounding pharmacies that do and have yet to ever hear any complaints of their products.

Organon Canada is still making the Yellow Tops. As for prescribing Deca for joint pain, a doc can't do that. It's not among the list. Deca will usually be prescribed after a surgery, HIV-accident/wasting.

what i think im gonna do is compile a report and bring it to my doctor. show him that ive tried all the alternatives to deca ... show that ive thought about this route and that there really is no other procedure other than surgery, and id like to avoid that at all costs. it may work, and if it doesn't ill have a good report on deca and some good knowledge

                        now:
does anyone have any sites or links that show any kind of study done on deca ... im talking anything right now, im gathering info

                        cheers,
                        jg

Seriously surgery is the best. Why take Deca for an extended period and risk your libido ? Also remember that he dosage he may give you will probably be low. What's necessary and that's it.

Correct. You would probally get 200mg a month. You would be very lucky to get 200mg 2x a month.

Deca isnt going to fix major problems. If anything it will only mask them. Get a surgeory consult.

the idea isn't to fix joint pain, its to get deca with a script.
