I WAS going to say 'tell him the truth' - but then the insurance thing changed my mind...

I think Norr is on to something...

"I don't know doctor... I had these lumps when I was 14, then they kind of went away, and now they are back... well, I've been using ******** and some supplements called pro-hormone that I got at the health food store..."

You could add ' and my sex drive has been really low lately too...'

I wouldn't think you would have to say anything to your doctor. When he asks how you got them, say "I don't know, but please remove them." Gyno is a pretty common condition, even in men who don't take AS.

bump for more info on post-surgery. can you have the gland and tissue responsible for gyno completely removed? how many pro's do you think have done this. (obviously not Bautista, last time i checked anyways)

My brother's chest looked perfect after all was said and done. I can't remember the last time I really got up close but as far as I know there are no scars or anything. If you have problems and can afford to do it I think its a good investment. He had a hell of time with his gyno. It looked horrible but afterward he really did look completely normal. And he never has to worry about it again the doctor said.

i just told my doc(stanford medical center) i juice, he didnt care. he just asked what my goals were, how long i have juiced, and how many more times i plan on doing it... i told him because i wanted to see if he would prescribe me clomid, tamoxifen, and anastrozole. he said, "why do you want that stuff, it will not help you" he implied that it is used to treat women with breast cancer(which is partially true), but said it w/o confidence. basically he did'nt know shit about AAS, i was not surprised. the medical community will never research this feild.
btw, i asked him if insurance would cover gyno surgery and he said i would have to run it by my insur. provider.
            good luck.

I always tell my doctor anything I am doing to myself. It helps him make correct decisions about what to give me and he gives me advice regarding when to step back a little bit. Although, my doctor also doesn't write those things down on the exam sheets either. I would say find a doctor that you can talk to truly "off the record". I wouldn't want to go to any doctor that I couldn't trust in that way anyway.

For real. I stay away from old doctors. I think the younger medical community is much more fitness minded. You can tell by the physical stature of the person if they are someone you want to put trust in with your anabolic goals. I'm studying to be a doctor (chiropractor) and I'm learning more than ever about AAS. Of course its outside of the classroom but my general science knowledge base makes things make a whole lot more sense. Chiropractors are supposed to be so against any drugs but I know a bunch of kids I go to school with that do shit. I Just hope they never find out my little secret. I'm no worse than the mormon juicer........I repeat to myself over and over.

                  Gyno surgery

How old are you? I have had gyno surgery and my insurance covered it with no prob. I told the doc that when I was in HS wrestling, it got pinched so bad that it started to swell. I then told him it really didnt bother me too much for a couple of years but then some asshole gave me a titty twister and it swelled up again and the pain was excrutiating every time the nipple rubbed on something. It worked, it was kind of funny though, they did the surgery by injecting novacaine into my nipple and burning the gyno out with a laser burner of some sort. While they were pulling everything out, the doc started asking me if I knew about the olympic weightlifter who won the gold medal and it was taken away because he used AAS. I said I didnt have a clue and before I knew it...I was out the door with no more gyno.~ cyp

Only thing is im leaving my job, so i will no longer have insurance period in another month... so i would have to waite till i land a new job to have surgery.

should I continue to run nolva for another month or so or is it once you have the lump, there is no getting rid of it.

You can continue your insurance under Cobra most likely but you will have to pay the premiums your self and you can drop it anytime. just an FYI

Yeah i already checked into that, but it would cost me something like over 300 a month. I would rather just get the bare minimum coverage and waite till i land a new job to take care of any thing medical.

It's naive IMO to think you have patient confidentiality these days. You'll probably find a waiver in the small print somewhere....
