I'm obviously not thinking about walking in someplace and saying, Hey I bought some ilegal shit and want to report the guy who sold it to me.
I would think the guys who bust these freaks (for giving people poison for all I know) to inject in themselves for months on end wouldn't care if they were tipped off by someone anonymously.
No your wrong bro...I know how you feel, but its your fault you got scammed...the lists of reasons is endless...Impatients is probably the #1 offender...You can be assured that a straight up bro will have references and you can always check with a mod..I'm sorry for your loss bro...I really am...many things go on to ensure that does not happen on this board...i think one got banned after his first post early this morning...Don't respond to anyone that e-mails you soliciting..You'll be ok..Just use your head...Hang around..They ought to be castrated, but if people would use their heads they would be outa business
This guy had a lot of references that responded to my questions. I'll post their address' if the mod confirms my suspicions.
Hindsight is a pretty easy way to see what could have or should have been done.
Kind of like if my house gets robbed I could say "I could have been sitting in the front yard with a shot gun looking at a closed circuit monitor showing camera views from each corner of my lot but I wasn't. Oh well. That scum-bag burglar was just doing what comes naturally to him. I guess it was my fault?"
If the mod I checked with to see if this guy was really a scammer (after I got ripped off) was scammed by the same guy at one time, who should the mod have checked with before he got screwed?
If turning in a scammer only affected the scammer I wouldn't care but the reality is that people may still be giving them money during the investigation. They may role on good sources to save their own ass. If they were good at one time they will probably have some kind of records of customers. Law enforcement will have more insight into how we operate and may get some specific websites. It is more negative exposure. The bottom line is it all leads back to us as a community. It sucks to get scammed but bringing law enforcement in might cause problems for good bros down the line.

One tip wouldn't give them reason to do anything. They would have to stand before a magistrate and prove that you are a reliable informant before they could get a warrant to take action. How would you prove you're a reliable informant?
Getting scammed pisses you off, but think rationally before you do anything that skrews everyone.
