injection gone bad

i did a site injection the other day, now i have the largest "bruise" i've ever seen. i think i hit a vain, and it bled inside. is this something to be majorily concerned about? this is the 4th one from injections i've gotten, the others were on my butt, and much smaller. am i doing something wrong?

i was dumb and hit my the small head of my tricep w/ a winny injection.....my whole arm was bruised so i also believe i hit a vein....its fading every day and i have no pain...just check it out every day make sure its not getting worse in any way....id say you're goods though

As long as it is just a bruise you are ok. Take a look at how you are doing your injections. It may be a simple change in how you inject that solves your problem. If you are experiancing bruising when you inject you may be doing one or more of the following:

Moving the pin side to side, or up and down while injecting
Going through a vien or nicking one
Injecting too much oil for that particular muscle muscle to handle
Rotating the pin in a circular moting while injecting (spinning)
Don't massage the injection site to hard after you inject this may cause some of the problem. (I was guilty of this)
You may also just be sesative and bruise easy

it is possible you didnt put the needle in deep enough. i have gotten bruised on my chest because i didnt penitrate deep enough.

if you hit a vein and it's bleeding inside, yes you have an issue man...if it doesn't go away soon, go see a Dr.

I have nicked veins withdrawing. It happens, and yea it looks ugly as hell.

I like to use a corn-silk concealer myself, it's non-greasy, and it really blends well.

As long as he didn't inject into the vein and there was no blood in the needle upon aspiration he should be fine. I nick and hit veins every now and then, hurts but you'll still be ok.
