I read debates about this all over. Some people believe the water and estrogen helps you grow, others think it makes no difference. Iv also read that aromasin lowers SHBG, which would actually free more test and promote growth. What do you think and whats your reasoning? Whats your experience with this?

Debate: Do Anti-E's inhibit gains?

ihave heard that water retention causes strength increase. example: if you did a d-bol only cycle and took armidex ed with it you wouldnt get near the strength gains that you would if you took d-bol alone. Dont quote me ,it is just something i read on a board.I personally run dex every cycle.I want the gains i make to be muscle and stay with me. Not water that pisses itself away!

i think just about everyone should take some form of aromatose inhibitor, even if its a very small dosage.
yes there are negatives to them such as cholesterol, and less intracellular water, less igf-1, but there are also many benefits, such as reduced/eliminated water bloat, and with water bloat comes high blood pressure and headaches, reduced acne, easier recovery, and less test converted to estrogen, and less estrogen means less fat deposits.
those who want the benefits without the negatives should just take a low dose, both the positives and negatives are dose related.

Not to sound like an ass. BUT: "Who cares if it hinders gains?"
Yes it will hinder gains to a certain degree - but considering the possible risks of elevated estrogen levels - it is not worth it NOT to take anti-e's.
Or I guess you could apply to the school of thought which several pro bb's have. Let the estrogen go and cut your nipples out when it is time.
