No offence to your friend but thats just one of two things, lazyness or stupidity. I would never risk it since the cost of a pin is usually no more than 30 cents. Besides, I get more than I will need so I never have to worry about not having a new one.

You got yours from a preloaded syringe didn't you, from the dissolved rubber plunger wasn't it?

no was a disolved orange vial rubber made the gear a bright orange only did 1/4 cc to test and got abcess.
