What do you guys think? Train or don't train when sick.
As a rule, I use this, if I can breath, and the sickness is above the neck, I train, if I cant breath properly, and the sickness is below the neck, its time off for me.
So if I have a chest cold, I dont touch the gym till its gone...If its a little sniffle or a sore throut, I train...that kinda thing.
Get *********, take 5 days off, and enjoy the vaca. Working out while sick will only hurt you more. You have to remember when you are sick the last thing your body wants to do is to have to fight off your sickness and repair your muscles at the same time. Drink lots of fluids, take your vitamines, and eat healthy. You'll be hitting the steel in no time.
