Marijuana, cigarettes, and alcohol have often been considered gateway drugs, but what are your opinions on steroids as gateway drugs?
I think most people who get into steroids usually consider themselves to be “clean living” healthy people. Unfortunately, from what I have seen and experienced, this is not the case at all.
If the drugs that steroids lead to are used as adjunctive medications (Valium to combat sleep problems) or as performance enhancing medications (Amphetamines for fat loss and energy) then are they as acceptable as other adjunctive and performance enhancing drugs? By others I mean others such as Ephedrine, Clenbuterol, Clomid, Nolvadex, etc.
Are they only gateway drugs if they are used for or lead to recreational use?
Any thoughts?
