i recently had a kidney condition brought on by running around w/ high BP for an extended period of time w/o knowing...Im back to regular health and when i make a decision to jump back on i will have a 110 % clean bill of health...my problem is this..I dont know my family history w/ BP as I was adopted..And i know if your predisposed to high BP its difficult to keep back dow..My question is ...What if its not a gentic problem and you brought the high BP on yourself..Once ou get it back down can you keep it down or once you shoot that high is it always going to be a chronic problem??

no..my doc said the Kidney problem was a result of the BP..So he said the kidney problem was an idiopathic thing..I was diagnosed w/ Acute Glomerulitis...My kidney functions were 100% BUN and creatinine were normal and the doc believes that it was not genetic...So ive been on a course of prednisone for about 2 1/2 months...Im not going back on the sauce until im givin a clean bill of health however and i get my bp into desired range...But i just wanted to know if BP can be managed once you get it back down to that desired range...Also why no AA 17 ?? i know they are tough on the liver but i dont know of any kidney toxicity associated w/ aa17 -
