  • B12 is red

Just got some B12 from lion. Is all B12 red in color? It almost makes aspirating worthless since you can't see blood. I guess its not that important with a water based vitamin?

Yes, and you don't have to aspirate when injecting B12. You can do Sub Q shots instead of IM. Even IM, I know guys that don't aspirate B12 shots. Sometimes they say they can taste it. I never did IM, all Sub Q.

It doesn’t matter if it’s red, when you aspirate you will create a vacuum in the syringe. If you are in a vein, that vacuum will draw in fluid (blood). If you are not in a vein, you will not draw in any fluid, you will only create a vacuum that will be evident when you see air bubbles and feel resistance (vacuum).

When I do glute shots I can’t even see the syringe; I go strictly by the resistance (vacuum). If there is no resistance and the plunger keeps pulling out then I know I’m drawing something more than air.

you can inject b12 IV, so it's not a big deal ...

it's excreted in your urine, but i've never had a discoloration, even at 2cc/day

                      Thank You!

Not exactly a B12 topic, but I'm so sick of those, "I'm too buff to do glute shots cause I can't twist around"; just use the damn mirror It's not like they're so huge they can't scratch their damn ass, and if you can do that, you can inject glutes

                        exactly

if it was stated not to use IV, it would concern me as there is only a few reasons why someone wouldnt want you using an IV - ok drug IV...Liability from idiots, or dirty product. I dont know the answer, and I dont care lol
