It's a opiate agonist and partial opiate antagonist. So at a certain point there is a ceiling to the effects of it hence the no-od effect.

Yeah painkillers are dangerous...At first they're managable but they quickly turn into a problem. Anyone with addictive personalities should stay away from these as once you get on them (addcited) its hard to live life without them. Trust me from personal experience.

Spent a couple of months on them after I had back surgery. They are hard to come off of, especially if you have cronic pain. Having that experance I would not go back on them. Nothing wrong with a couple of weeks of hydrocone or oxycodine if your really uncomfterble but stay away from the hard shit. JMO

Why are some people such pussies about pain? I shoot just about every day, get sore as hell, and sometimes mess my joints up a little. But I have never felt the need to seek out some hard core narcotic to kill the pain. From what I have heard some people use nubain when doing synthol because of the pain and inflamation from it but overall why would anyone want that shit?

I was in a damn scooter accident. I hit the pavement between 20 and 25mph. It took a lot of skin off and bruised some areas pretty good. And I'm not going to see a damn doctor because I know they are all superficial (dosn't mean they don't fuckin hurt)

I suggest getting 10-15 Lortabs. Take 1 every 8 hours for pain as needed.

Make sure you bandage up those wounds correctly and make sure none get infected. You should be a bit better in a couple weeks.

BTW No need to have nubain laying around. I hear its not even that great of a painkiller anyways.

I went through 2 bottles of nubain. And I will say that the painkilling/high is gone in about 3-5 injections. So you will want to double the dose or mainline. luckily I did not. But I got a good feel for addictive it could be. for 3 days after using it I wanted "something". There are better ways to deal with your situation

Thanks everyone. I'm about over the pain now. I just have a limp for a few minutes when I stand up, and I can't rest my arm on anything But the SEVERE pain is pretty much gone.

And I was riding a scooter because I live about 5 minutes from campus and my class is on the far side. UF has a big campus.
