my mom is taking me to a dermatologist to get some spot on my skin checked out, she used to be a cancer doctor office manager and is anal about skin and the fact that i tan all the time. im going to get something for acne also what should i get, i know accutane is the best, but anything else out there.

i am also going to get a physical soon and im going to ask for a blood test, and to check kidney and liver functions. what should i tell my doc? and should i go when im on cycle or off. im almost done. this is my last week on. then three weeks off then clomid. when should i go to the doc?

thanks any suggestions will help. I dont know how to tell my doc that i need a test for this. will he know why when i ask for one? or do i have to tell him that i am on AAS. my doc is real cool and understands younger guys, hes hooked me up once before with some allergy fake script so i could live off campus at school. dorm rules kept me in the dorms.
    thanks

Accutane is not the "best" only the strongest. Many other things, such as doxycycline, minocycline or another tetracycline derivative in conjunction with something like clindamycin or benzaclin might work as well for you without the sides of accutane (and therefore be better).

If you tell your doc. about it, it goes down in your file - that's the law. Unless your doctor is willing to risk losing his license, he will record what you told him about your AS use. Now for the most part it is protected (i.e. confidential) but that protection is not absolute. Insurance companies can deny converage for you if you refuse to turn over medical records, if you sue someone and claim physical injury they can request copies of your medical records, etc.. There are times when it makes sense to divulge it to a doctor, and times when it doesn't. Just be sure you know all the consequences.

wow.. now i am confused on what to say to my doc.. should i just hint towards it. or just be straight forward.

and im still wondering when i should go in and be tested. during on cycle, PCT, or off completely.

and i will talk to the derma about acne. it just started last week, wk 11 of this cycle.

and to be honest and not a dick, i dont want to hear 20 is too young. its already done and over with i already did them and i will continue till i cant afford. with breaks for recooping that is.
