    I'm getting ready for my third cycle. I'm 6'2 215lbs
    I have ran cyles that include all the "basics". Most of them have been ten weeks. I wanto run a longer cycle.What are the benefits of doing so? How long should I run. Any sugestions? If you were to design your next long cycle how would you set it up? Thanks for all the input. Great board by the way!!!

    It depends on what you are trying to do. the only thing with long cycles is the possiblity of not recovering fully after the cycle. On short cycles with good training, excellent diet, 8hrs of sleep a night, and you could accomplish anything. 10 weeks is fine, heck 8wks is fine with a great ability to recover. Long cycles are hard on the body.

      I'm a personal trainer at a franchise gym. I dont go out much. No drugs and I train hard. Will a longer cycle at lower doses be rough. i'm looking to pack ona sloid 25 more pounds by the end of summer. Is this a realistic goal to have?

        It is a very realistic goal in my opinion. 20-25 pounds shouldn't be a problem providing you eat right, lift big, and do recommended near post and post cycle therapy. Don't forget to sleep.

          I prefer longer cycles myself. Its really all about your goals though. Turbo3000 gave good advice. For your questions though..

          Benefits, more gains and possibly more permanent gains. The longer you hold on to a certain amount of mass, the easier it will be to keep from your bodies readjustment to equilibrium. You will also adjust better to the higher cal intake required.

          For a typical "long cycle" 20wks should suffice. I would run a longer acting test in the 500-1000mg neighborhood DEPENDING on your previous cycle history. Deca and/or EQ at the approptiate doses are also good. I like a combination of the two. Or running the deca first and then the Eq later. Another option is to run a test and eq or deca for 12 or so weeks and then switch off to something such as prop, suspension and tren to finish off for 8wks. (I usually do)

          Ex

          wks 1-12 500 test
          wks 1-12 300 deca
          wks 1-12 400 eq
          wks 1-4 30mg halo
          wks 13-20 350 prop
          wks 13-20 525 tren
          wks 13-20 350 var

          Im just randomly throwing out numbers here, I dont know your history. That was just an example of one possibility or...

          wks 1-18 750 test
          wks 1-16 600 deca (I dont like ending with deca)
          wks 1-6 30mg dbol
          wks 12-20 40mg Var

          Again, random numbers. Just an example.

                how many cycles have you done?

                if you are going long, go simple

                weeks 1-20 500mg long acting test
                weeks 1-20 600mg EQ

                nice and simple. if you are a little more experienced, start with some dbol for a jumpstart. no need to get fancy

                  This will be my third cycle. I like what you guys have shown me. I did want to experiment with suspension towards the end of the cycle. Is that a bad idea?
