antibotics and steriods?

i have got a severe sinus infection and the doc put me on amoxicillian.......is there anything here that might hinder gains or cause side effects or anything like that ?

nope not that I'm aware of. You might want to talk to your doc about getting a stronger antibiotic though. sinus infections are a ***** to get rid of, I had one for 8 months before. I'd just start out with something like augmentin, get it done and continue. If they start you out on the weakest thing moving up to the strongest, it will make you resistant to all the antibiotics youve used and prolong your misery. jmo, get something stronger

Wrong, wrong wrong! The World Health Organization and the Infectious Diseases Society of America have recommended starting with Amoxicillin which will work in the vast majority of cases. It is the indiscriminate use of broad spectrum antibiotics like Aumentin that is leading to the emerging resistance of many organisms. I don't mean to sound like I'm flaming, but this is an area of special concern for me.

I dont mean to flame 34pumped, but, youve been here for a while, a simple search would have brought up about 6-7 threads about this exact subject, it seems as if there are one or two every week
