  • Splitting up work outs during the day?

    Hey group,
I've been working out every day at work but I just joined an awesome gym. Is there any thing wrong with working out during lunch time for an hour and then another hour after work at the gym? Or is better just to do a two hour work out all at once?

How many hours a day do you guys work out?

    Thanks in advance

1st of all2hrs in the gym is way too much IMO....some BB's don't even do that much at times, and if you want to split up the routines 2x's a day, it can put a heavy strain on your growing if you don't know what your really doing, your just asking for fatigue in a bad way...just go to the gym once a day and train about 1hr to 1.5hr's at the most.....

Your taking too much rest or doing to many sets or something. I do an uperwards of 20 sets sometimes, or 16 sets and 15 minutes of cardio, and im out of the gym in an hour or less.

I've only been working out 1 hour a day during my lunch. But now that I joined this gym I'm going to want to work out there also. The thing is one of my boys from work always works out with me during lunch. I still want to work out with him but also hit the new gym. How does 45 mins during lunch and 45 or 30 after work. I work out around 1 till 2 at work and I get off at 5.

I think 2x a day is too much..Ive gotten my best results when Im in and out in under an hour..I find if Im training with someone Im more likely to chit-chat rather than lift. Im usually able to get a decent spotter for my core exercises during the week--I meet with my reg training partners on Sat only--and Im able to get my training done efficiently. Cuts down on possibly overtraining, which Im very prone to doing.

there was a good article in ironman about one or two months ago about 2 a day's. as long as ur eating and sleeping enough you should be fine. adding some juice into the mix for added recovery would be a good idea too to prevent over training. i've done 2 a day's, and feel it's a good way to hit often neglected bodyparts(shines/neck), and also if you hate doing cardio like i do you get the added benifit of burning off extra calories during the extra weight training session.

I'm about 4 weeks in on Tren 75mg ed, and 2 weeks in on Test enan 600 EW. I plan on running the tren till about 8 or 10 weeks and the test to about 10 or 12.

I just hate to stop working out at lunch because I'm so use to it, but I just join this gym today and it's a tight gym. So I want the best of both worlds! Plus I don't want to waste my money on the membership, so I plan on using it everyday "except Sundays". The other thing is the gym has crazy amounts of equipment and my job gym has only a few pieces of equipment.

Maybe just do some cardio or abs or something at lunch, i would drop it completley. No need to overtrain just because you can, its like saying you have to eat the chocolate cake because its there.
