  • Have to rush Fina along!

Ok bros i added my pellets to the magic solution and then let them disolve and added the oil to fill the vial and now realized i dont have 24 hrs to let it settle b/c of a trip out of town tomorrow. Whats the shortest length of time i should allow the solution to sit before filtering?

you can filter with a coffee filter....now... but that will take forever after you added the oil ...You just need to wait for the sedament to settle and suck off the oil .....then run it through the whatman.

Change of plans. Gave it the 24 hrs and filtered it.
Just baked it for 15min @ 250 and it seems very watery now. Is that common? It lost its oily consistancy.
Also i netted 39cc from a 4g RK and was wondering about what strength my final product is?

The strength is about 75mg p/c. No need to rush it. The coffee filter really doesn't take that long, maybe 6 hrs.

After baking and allowing it to sit in my closet for a few days it looks to have gotten a little cloudier... Doubt anything to be concerned about though right?

I have used heat in a hot water bath to make fina in 2 hours. but it seems that the current batches of fina pellets do not work that well anymore. Taking your time is best.

change of color of fina is not unusual.
