      ?

Tinfish and rado, i don't think you two realize how bad an hdl of 9 is.... ask your doc at your next visit what they would think of an hdl of 9.

            Dick,

I am on your side on this one. I was attempting to be sarcastic on him using fina for just a few weeks too many.

with an HDL of 10, ask any cardiologist... you're not far from the grave. the lowest hdl i've ever seen of a non steroid user was 21. you're cholesterol/hdl ratio is a very important determinant of at what rate you'll develop atherosclerosis and if you'll have a heart attack.

now you're encouraging other people to follow in your footsteps... congratultions.

              dick
Except that steroid user never took Garlic standardized for Aillicin(10 000mcg) which is 2.5 times more potent than HDL.

              Research pays guys.

R-ALA also increases oxygen transport to the hert by 32%.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine is probably the PREMIER heart envigorator.

Every AAS user should ALWAYS take AlCar and R-ALA along with Aillicin(If on androgens).

Then there is GLA.......another extremely important nutrient.

AAS usage is not just about lifting and getting big. Its about researching what you need to take to minimize any possible risks.

              AS I have done.

The probelm here is that I'm about 4 years ahead in terms of research in regards to normal AAS users.

                Niacin is not very good.

Garlic and Guggulsterones and a little known Red Yeast is far better. Same as Green Tea.

                    1. Garlic(Aillicin)(3200mcg) with every meal.

                    2. Guggulsterones: 120mg/day 60mg 2x/day

                    3. Acetyl-L-Carnitine: 5g/day

                    4. Green Tea: 1g/day 98% Polyphenols 60% Catechins

                    5. GLA: 1.2g/day

                    6. R-ALA: 600mg/day

Note: Remember to add Biotin 2mg 3X/day with the r-ala

                    All these things work synergisitically.

GLA +R-ALA +ALCar on nutrient partitioning and heart Health

                    ALCar,GLA,Green Tea,Guggulsterones,Garlic on Lipids/Chol

Whooo wee! You’re befuddling my dang yokel mind…guh-hyuck. :p

I’m sorry, I really don’t want to start a flame festival here, but this thread may well be wandering down a slippery slope. Please, allow me to interject my old-school opinion into your new-age thought process, because it sounds to me like you are rationalizing what you have done.

Actually, it is fairly obvious to me that you are rationalizing – a 47-week cycle, is not a cycle – it’s a change of address.

I think it is unwise to allow your HDL levels to fall to such a dangerously low level and think that using some dubious supplements will make everything okay. I’m sure that in your mind your highly advanced research will take you to another level, but most people won’t be willing to risk death for the sake of research.

Call me an asshole if you want, but any newbies reading this thread that may be given the idea that it is acceptable to have a total cholesterol level that high and an HDL level that low, and it can be offset by using garlic extract, need to know that this thinking is, at best, highly dubious.

I was just givind some feedback...which is the point of ther boards. I would never recommend what I did to anyone.

Good Question, and equally as important as the lab tests you provided.
