Deca only cycle

Ok let's say you were going to do a light cycle of Deca only 400 mg a week for 10 weeks and throw in a total of 5 Sust just too keep the Deca Dick away

A) Would that be enough Sust to keep it Deca D away

B) Would you use something like Liquidex for water retention

C) Would you need Nolva (during) and Clomid at the end?


Or is this a light enough cycle that you can get away without liquidex, Nolva and Clomid

My buddy is going to do his 1st cycle and that is all he has? Wants to know if he needs to pick up Liquidex, nolva and clomid or since it is low he can get away without.

I would do at least 250mg of sust every week. Liquidex wont be needed, nolva just in case, and yes, he will definitley need some sort of post cycle recovery, the Deca will shut him down hard.

My first cycle was deca only and I put on about 15 lbs of lean muscle. Lost 5lbs of it post cycle. Only ran 8 weeks though-crombie09

why not just run the sust at 500mg then, get better results overall with the deca as well.

you could use the liq at 0.5mg ed for the bloat and gyno symptons.

keep your clomid for post for the usual...and since this is his 1st one, he'll get some good gains from sust and deca with a good diet too, good luck to him

He only has the 5 shots of sust and the 4000 mg of Deca. I suggested he pick up some more but he is just going with what he's got. He is one of those guys who doesn't read up on these boards or books and usually goes with what I tell him but he is just gonna leave it at that. I really don't know why. I am guessing it is part money and part hassle of getting more. He's a good guy so I try and help him out. I personally am a little scared of side effects myself and when I mention what type of sides "CAN HAPPEN" he gets paranoid. Says stuff like "Well WTF do I want to risk Gyno for?" Or I don't want to risk losing my hair. Things like that. He really isn't that educated and is NOT the brightest of bulbs.

Anyways, as to whether or not a 250mg shot EOW of sust would be enough to keep the dd away, I'd say it 'should be'. After all, that's a typical replacement dose for those on HRT. I did deca solo @ 450mg/wk/10wks and I didn't have problems till the later weeks. Recovery was a little difficult, just had to run clomid a few weeks longer than usual. I did gain nicely on the cycle and strength went up a ton. Basically no other sides except the slightest of acne and water retention.

I too was concerned about the hair issue, but that can be controlled with topicals and orals such as proscar/avodart. I suggest he do a basic cycle of 400mg/wk of test. At that dose, with the proper ancillaries/preventatives the sides should be almost nil (other than substantial muscle gain and strength increase).
