Can someone please explain drug 1/2 lives to me?

I understand the concept. But it still doesn't make sence to me.

IE) Typical clomid therapy for a cycle using Test Enthate as a base will begin 3 weeks after last injection. But the 1/2 life of enthate is around 20 days... So after 3 weeks. 1/2 of your last shot would still be in your system.... Sounds like it'd be too early for clomid therapy.

Where am I going wrong in my thinking here?

First off the half-life of Enanthate is more like 10.5 days, not 20.

Clomid does not stimulate the release of natural testosterone. It works by reducing the estrogenic inhibition caused by AAS. It does this in a similar manner to the way it and Nolvadex block estrogen receptors to combat gyno...by blocking the estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus and pituitary thherefore reducing the inhibition from the elevated estrogen. This allows LH levels to return to normal, or even above normal levels, and in turn, natural testosterone levels to also normalise.


In order to trigger this mechanism in the hypothalamus(which stimulats the anterior pituitary gland) we have to take clomid after androgen levels have dropped, but if they drop too much, then we start losing gains...hence why we start clomid therapy 3 weeks after the last injection of test enan.; Yes there is still some of the drug in your system, but androgen levels have dropped enough for clomid to start doing its job..
