What does everyone use for low carb or zero carb whey protein. I have been using Isopure for years and am looking to switch to something different while cutting. What is the best out there right now. I dont want to see optimum either because I have used it and think that you get what you pay for, junk.

i like to mix muscle milk with isopure. you still get most of the taste from muscle milk, with less fat/carbs and the good protein of isopure. for post workout though nothing beats isopure and dextrose...The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

What's wrong with optimum? But now I use protein customizer's CFM WPI for post-workout... nothing but purest protein and dextrose for my post-slin drink. Gained 10lbs or more back already, I love it

i use optium it only has 3g of carbs per serving, i also use ids whey isolate 2 g of carbsComment

optimum whey doesnt mix very well and messes with my stomach leading me to believe that the quality isnt very good. I could be wrong, but I truly believe that when it comes to protein you get what you pay for. That might not be the case with everything today, but I dont mind paying some extra cash when it comes to getting a quality protein.Comment

Optimum bad quality? Bwahaha! Read some lab tests, its one of the purest, if not the purest out there. Actually had more protein than it claimed and with only 3 or 4 grams of carbs per scoops, I use it to bulk and to cut.Comment

correct me if I am wrong, but isnt it true that the more pure the protein, the easier it should mix up with water. Optimum doesnt mix worth a shit. The other thing is flavor, even while I am cutting and flavor is not an option, the chocolate flavor tastes like ass, even though I have seen those who brag about how good it tastes. The other thing is Optimum is the only protein that has ever given me upset stomachs and gas. It just does settle good with me and I have trouble digesting it, why would that be, yet every other protein I have taken goes down fine and digests fine.Comment

What are you mixing it with? A fork? Mine mixes very well in a shaker cup.
Your claims of denatured protein by Optimum is laughable. It tastes great to me, and the thousands of others who use it. Start a poll and ask the question "Is optimum 100% whey worth the $25 for 5lbs" and I bet you're the only one who says no. Probably the best cost effective protein on the market, sells in great volumes and tons of repeat customers. . If you compare the way Isopure mixes with water and the way Optimum mixes, it is 2 different worlds, and if you find anyone to disagree with me there it will surprise the shit out of me. I have given Optimum a chance, believe me, I love the price, but the shit jusdoesnt settle right with me, for some reason I cant digest it right.
When it comes to taste, the only flavor I have tried has been chocolate, are the other flavors any better, maybe there is something in the chocolate that is messing with my stomach, who knows.
But yes, the reasons I have listed above have led me to believe that the quality is poor, I have never seen lab reports on it, if you have them handy let me know, but either way, I just cant drink the shit, it doesnt get along very well with my stomach.Comment
