Slin for pre contest carb up????

Any one know the correct protocol for using slin to carb up before a show???

I searched all over Chad's board and found nothing. From personal experience, i ntoice solid food blaots me less. This is how my uninformed self would approach it. I would carb deplete the day before the contest. Say the contest is at 4pm. I would eat solid starchy carbs with the AM injection, rice or a baked potato. I notice much less water retention when not using a shake at all. PRobaly shoot for abotu 100g of carbs in this meal. Than around 1 or so, i would do the same. I have tried dextrose, malodextrtin, and solid food, and solid foods bloat me less. The "pump affect last 5-6 hours for me, so maybe i would move the 2nd meal with insulin closer to contest time. I guess in this instance, humulin would be a better choice, since it is longer acting.
