how many of you have had success with ordering online vs. how many of you have been scammed?

A selective scammer is someone who may send you your gear or may send you fake gear or nothing at all. Some people get their gear and its legit, some get nothing. This helps them stay around longer because they prey on newbies and send vets, mods and admins their gear, so theyre backed by vets, mods and admins, but scam newbies.Comment

I disagree man. Ordering online is just as safe as buying from someone in your gym. How do you know that gear is real? How do you know they arent the feds? If you find a legit source or 2 online, use them, dont give them out and you're good to go.Originally posted by alittlewhiteboy

The only thing I can recommend is that you do some research on the web site before you order. Do a whois on the domain name and see how long that domain has been around. If the domain was just created then the chances are they are scammers, if the domain has been around a few years there is still a chance they are a scammer but your odds are a little better.Comment

Never order from a website you find via search engine. Oh boy. Send me your money instead. MOST legit source do not operate via webiste, strictly e-mail. If you find a site via Yahoo or whatever, laugh at it and keep looking, but no on a search engine. You can hand around these boards and several otehrs, pay attention, ask intelligent questions, give help and you'll get a source. I know everyone says that and new guys get impatient, but thats honestly how it works. No one is just going to give you a source, but you can figure out who's who if youre around long enough.
Until then, lift heavy weights and eat like its your job.Comment
