I was surprised it took so long for somebody to post this. I just saw this thread, and I couldn't believe you pulled back that much. Fuck! A full 1cc of air?!? Like Austin said, you only need to pull back far enough 'til you see a bubble....jesus christ, I still can't believe...1 whole mL...damn!

You're gonna be fine man, but next time...pull back 'til you see an air bubble, that's it! Do some more research maybe, I hope you know what you're doing.

I think I just go back 1/10 to 2/10ths of a CC; just enough to see a bubble or feel enough pressure that I know I'm not in a vein. BTW, I have gotten blood a couple of times, so I know I'm pulling back far enough....
