  • why am i getting fat?

    im 4 weeks post cycle. i was running test/eq/dbol for 8 weeks. my post cycle has included nolva(40/20/20)/creatine. while i was on, i was consuming 3000 cal., 200-250 protein. i recently cut my cal. down to about 2000-2500 while keeping the protein around 200. since i cut my cal, my bodyfat has increased. why is this happening?

    Are you sure its your bodyfat that has increased or your bloating? Creatine post cycle swells me up like a camelHow much do you weigh and how active have you been?

          i busted out laughing when i read your reply ... i was about to laugh up the thread, but then i realized he was right

          and you mean to tell me that 40+20+20 doesn't equal 100?

              im bloated as well as having increased bodyfat. i agree that the bloat is from the creatine, but im not sure why the bf is going up. i measure bf with a Tanita scale and also accu-measure caliper. the combination of being both bloated and having increased bf is what is bothering me.

              and yes, 40/20/20 is for weeks 1-3.

                    cardio brother, remember to do some cardio bro. Don't eat and go do some cardio then eat then go lift weights don't eat some more then do some cardio then eat and the day is over.

                      Try cutting your carbs and going on a keto diet. 30% Protein 70% fat carbs 15-20 grams a day. With morning cardio on an empty stomach the fat will melt off in no time!

                          fat along with muscle will melt off post cycle. Your probaly still catabolic, and not recovered 100%. I never cut cals post cycle until i feel the ol boys working up to par.

                            pro. thats exactly what im worried about. this was my first cycle, and everybody always told me to eat to maintain my new size, and that cardio reduces muscle. so i did. i kept my cal and protein the same post cycle, as it was while i was on and now my bf has gone up. so i feel like im in a bind. i dont want to lose the new size, but i dont want to get fat.

                            my nuts never really shrank. they have been fine the entire cycle.

                              i drop my carbs a bit and raise good fats post cycle, but eat close to the same # of cals
