We recently had a chance to review the new and improved ProPump protein by Powr3d and it was greatly improved. The selling points of ease and convenience were finally dialed in. Unlike the original version that we told you to avoid, the new version is a true syrup instead of a gelatinous goo! It pumps easy and mixes instantly. While fully flavored, we found it to be a bit thin and unsatisfying when mixed with water. it would be perfect for coffee, ice cream and baking. It does not need to be refrigerated so it can sit on your counter ready for use to add to fresh strawberries or a glass of milk. The chocolate flavor is solid but still has that protein aftertaste like many protein supplements. This if fairly unavoidable but can be mitigated by adding it to something with its own robust flavor like coffee or fruit. It is 100% whey isolate so the protein quality is good. All in all, it is worth considering adding the new formula to your protein arsenal. at 5 grams of protein per pump, it is a very versatile product.
