We want to thank our over 115 competitors, the Europa Expo, Europa Sports, spectators, vendors, meet officials and all meet personnel for participating or assisting in putting on an extraordinary event April 22-23!Female Highlights:
We had 23 female lifters and all turned in great performances. Shannon Nash brought her A game, putting up an ALL-TIME WORLD RECORD RAW BENCH PRESS…380 lb. at 180.3 body weight!!!
Dawn Bogart and Alexis Eliopoulos spent the day fighting it out for Best Female Lifter. Dawn, at 132, posted a 959 total (deadlifting 402) while Alexis, at 198, posted 1163 (deadlifting 452)! Dawn edged her out by a slim margin but what a performance by both ladies.
Other women worth mentioning, Brittany Shackelford totaled 904 in winning the Raw Classic 148’s, Maureen Clary, went Open and Masters, winning the Raw 148’s totaling 876!
Tiffany Bellamy, in her first meet, lifted Raw Classic 114’s and totaled a respectable 551! Taylor Nugent and Kayce Hoover both went Raw Classic totaling 694.5 and 689 respectively!
