My name is Bobby Morgan, I am the new "Interim Texas State Chair, and Meet Director" for USPA TEXAS. Since Robert Gallegos stepped down, I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself, and my history in the sport for those who dont know me.
I first started to learn about lifting weights when I was 11 years old, then in 1989 during my junior year in high school, I competed in my first unsactioned meet as bench only lifter. I started competing in USPF my senior year in high school and continued competing in push pull meets (WABDL) off and on, and occasionally full meets (USPF, and ADFPA) untill the early 2000's. During this time frame I held a few competitions as a meet director, and judged many meets. In the early 2000's I took a long break from the sport while continuing to train, then I finally enterd my first USPA meet, The Jill Mills Classic in 2012, held under state chair/meet director Chris Papillion.
