In 2013, the National Academy of Strength and Power (NASPOWER) Education System was founded by Lord Elliott (NASPOWER President, USPA Director of Coach Certification and National Referee) and under the academic development of Tom DeLong (NASPOWER, USPA Director of Science Education, and Lead Instructor for Coach Certification Course). In the summer of 2014, the USPA incorporated the NASPOWER Education System to educate powerlifting coaches to become USPA Certified Powerlifting Coach Practitioners. Through its development, and under the direction of Jesse Branham (NASPOWER Director of Business Management and USPA National Referee), the NASPOWER program is now an approved CEU Provider for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) for Personal Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certifications!
