Mighty mite Harj Basi set 15 APF and AAPF Open and Submaster American raw records in the 48 KG (105 lb). weight class at the Viking Challenge in Solvang, California on Saturday, December 8. Lifting in only her second meet, Harj began her record-breaking day with a squat of 92.5 KG (203 lbs). She followed up with a 52.5 KG (115 lb) bench, and a 105 KG (231 lb) deadlift for a total of 250 KG (551 lbs). The 38-year-old, who trains at CrossFit in San Jose and Santa Cruz, is coached by Sam Radetsky.
