Rudi Küster was well known on the powerlifting scene. In 1988 he was European Champion and Silver medal winner at the Worlds in Perth.
He is the only German, who lifted 400 kg in Deadlift. In the last decade he was responsible for the Youth/Junior in Germany and he was a Cat. I-referee.
