For those of you that can't make it to the LA Fit Expo to watch the lifting live. The USPA American Cup, the USPA LA Fit Expo BP/DL and the USPA Mendy Benchpress Classic will all be streamed live!. The USPA American Cup is scheduled from 10-5 (Pacific) on Sat Jan 28, The USPA LA Fit Expo BP/DL is scheduled for 10-3 (Pacific) on Sun, Jan 29 and The USPA Mendy Benchpress Classic is scheduled for an approx start time at 330pm (Pacific) on Sunday.

I'm glad to say that I attended it this past weekend.
Ironically back in late November, 2011, I was invited to join the powerlifting team of Scot Mendelson. After my 2nd training session, he and I were talking outside of the gym and he told me, "Bro, talk to your supervisor at work and try to get January 28th and 29th off." I asked why and he said, "That's the dates of the FitExpo and I'm going to need you to help us at the booths." I was as happy as a kid in a toy store. I've never attended an Expo and couldn't wait to not only be there but be there for FREE.
It was the bomb. I met some interesting people, including an official of USPF and Mike O'Hearn. I bought a few awesome t-shirts from OneMoreRep and House of Pain and a new pair of wristwraps from Rhino Gear.
If all goes well, my 1st meet will be in March.
