  • 50lbs in 7 weeks to bench press...

    Anyone ever tried this? We started it tonight.

    did it twice a few years back, it works well, probably will add 25-35 tho, 50 is a stretch when i did it.

      That's fine with me. I remember it being on a posted in the gym when I was like 16 years old. I will let you guys know how it works.

        I have done it prob 4 or 5 times. Good routine but gets very hard after about 4 weeks. def need a spot. if u can recover fast enough its good though.

            One question...we are doing this on chest night and want to do this twice a week to get done in 7 weeks. Do we have to do chest on the 2nd night or can we just do this bench routine for the second time in a week the same day we do legs? Does that make sense? We do it once on our regular chest night and then the second time on our legs day and only do the bench press.
