ok guys,
how many of you go into the gym and do hacks? real hacks...as in standing in front of a loaded barbell and pulling it from the floor? How about dead lifts? weighted pullups? weighted dips?
now, how many do bicep curls? knee extensions? lat pulldowns?
do you see my point? the point is, that if you do not see many people doing a certain exercise, then that means it is probably pretty darn difficult and exertional, thus IT WORKS.
i would like to issue a challenge...next week, go in the gym and do something you've never seen anyone else do. leave the nice padded hack squat machine alone and go get on the deadlift platform and pull the bar while standing in front... grab a dip belt and drop some iron and do a few pull ups--leave the cable machines for the gym chicks. make it a point to do all your activities with a BARBELL.
i can pretty much guarantee that if you do this seriously, and open up your diet some, in the next month you will see noticeable size and strength gains..
