My friend came across this guys website and told me to check it out as he knew i am always looking for new ways to work out. I do a lot of plyos and body weight type of explosive movements. He has videos of him doing the exercises so you know he is the real deal, its actually some of the most impressive stuff i have ever seen, esp. the one arm ab roll with multiple weight vests on. We bought one of his books and instructional videos for $30. All his testimonials are from well respected people too check them out. I am really psyched to try some of this stuff out. Hes got videos on YouTube as well. www.Rosstraining.com see what you think.

Re: Check this guy out, he is a beast.
I like to use it sometimes to keep me interested in what I am doing. Sometimes I can get so bored with the same type of gym routines, Even when I switch them up. I really quit doing most traditional leg lifts about a year and a half ago. Once a week I will still do leg press and heavy lunges. The other 90% of my leg routines is primarily plyometrics. I based it off an Olympic 100m sprinters routine. My legs are in much better shape since, its really the only thing that helped me to develop my lower legs. Plus, its cardio based and their are so many varieties.

You dont think crossfit adds functional strength? Could you expand? I am just curious as to why you think this.
